Terms of Service

By using Murmure Books or LATRAME, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Murmure Books is an independent digital bookstore. LATRAME, part of Murmure Books, is a fiction social network where you can create characters and publish scenes. These Terms cover the whole service; rules specific to content published on LATRAME are detailed in the Terms of Use — Content.

You must be 16 or older to create an account (see additional age restrictions in the Terms of Use — Content). You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account.

If you choose to sign in with a Google account, you authorize us to receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google in order to create and secure your LATRAME account. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account settings.

Digital books are sold at the price shown at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe. Once access to a book has been unlocked (download or reading started), the purchase is non-refundable, except where the error is ours.

The content of books published by Murmure Books belongs to their authors and publisher; it is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. Content you create on LATRAME (characters, scenes, text) belongs to you; by publishing it, you grant us the right to host and display it as part of the service.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or the Terms of Use — Content, in particular in cases involving forbidden content.

The service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico (State of Quintana Roo). Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of Chetumal, Quintana Roo, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
